The NSW government is offering community grants for local projects. Here’s how you get your hands on some of these $$!

• Perhaps a fully fenced pet off leash area?
• How about helping get pet education into local primary schools?
• Perhaps a set of basic agility equipment for your local dog park?
• A cat show at the local scout hall?
• How about “dog off leash etiquette” education signs at the beach?
•        Funds to run a local “Bark in the Park? Pet picnic?

Remember that you need a local sponsor for your project. YOUR business can be the sponsor or you can team up with other local groups like cat clubs, obedience clubs, or local schools, associations or scout groups.

MOVE FAST! The more applications, the more likely that pet projects will be voted for. The pet industry needs to be more visible, and that means EVERY member has a community to influence people to own and love pets.
