As Halloween grows, pets are in danger from new risks we haven’t seen before in Australia  – including:

• eating glow sticks (Animals can be fascinated by them – CLICK HERE)
• “tricking” kids opening gates/enclosures and letting pets out
• theft of reptile and spider pets
• fireworks
• eating chocolate
• eating sweets
• eating all manner of lolly wrappers/rubbish/costumes

… and then there’s the risk of being embarrassed by ridiculous Halloween costumes!

ASPCA has put out a timely reminder for vets and pet owners on the dangers of Halloween – CLICK HERE
